In this paper, we propose PROMETHEUS, a framework for proactive temperature aware scheduling of embedded workloads on single instruction set architecture heterogeneous multiprocessor systems-on-chip. It systematically combines temperature aware task assignment, task migration, and dynamic voltage and frequency scaling.
