The objective of the study was to determinate the total content of petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) in seawater of the Romanian Black Sea Sector during offshore exploration activities in February June 2015. TPH concentrations in seawater samples, collected from 3 locations (depth from 200 to 1,625 m) were quantified by ultra-violet fluorescence spectroscopy.
