  • Predaceous spiders outnumbered green lacewings, coccinellids, and ants in lime orchards. The density of green lacewings (Chrysoperla rufilabris) was significantly higher than the coccinellids {Harmonia sp.) and ants (Myrmelachista sp.). Nine families, 25 genera and 16 identifiable species of spiders were recorded. Significantly more spiders were found in non- sprayed orchards than in sprayed ones.
