This research is devoted to evaluating the ability of R software to model an industrial scale vacuum gas oil (VGO) hydrocracking plant using ANN (artificial neural network) modeling approach. R is an open source program for statistical computation and graphics that consists a language plus a run-time environment, and access to certain system functions.
