Recent studies implicate that the estrogen receptor (ER) coregulator proline-, glutamic acid-, and leucine-rich protein (PELP) 1 as playing critical roles in ER-genomic, ER-nongenomic, and ER-signaling cross talk with growth factor signaling pathways.
