AIMS Our aim was to explore the mechanism underlying the transcriptional regulation of adiponectin and its receptors (AdipoR) in cultured rat cardiac fibroblasts. METHODS AND RESULTS Using western blot and real-time RT-PCR assays, the expression of adiponectin and its receptors was determined.
