1. The oxidation of oxalacetic acid was studied in isotonic homogenates of rat kidney, brain, heart, liver, and transplantable tumors. Analytical studies were carried out to correlate the changes in the concentration of ketoacid, malate, citrate, inorganic phosphate, and ammonia with changes in the rate of oxygen uptake. 2.
