  • SYNPROC is a facility for generating syntactic analyzers, implemented on the CII 10070 computer system. It uses a technique for automatic generation of Floyd-Evans productions which is described in [4]. It also uses bounded-context [3] resolution of identical right-hand sides of syntactic rules. Thus, space optimized analyzers are obtained mechanically for bounded-context (m,1) grammars.
