We present an overview of the first shared task on language identification on codeswitched data. The shared task included code-switched data from four language pairs: Modern Standard ArabicDialectal Arabic (MSA-DA), MandarinEnglish (MAN-EN), Nepali-English (NEPEN), and Spanish-English (SPA-EN).
