OBJECTIVES The objective of this pilot study was to determine if the combination of CA 125, menopausal status and prealbumin can be used to accurately predict ovarian cancer in women with pelvic masses. STUDY DESIGN Preoperative serum CA 125, prealbumin and menopausal status were prospectively determined.
