OBJECTIVES Despite nearly equivalent outcomes between open and robot-assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy (RALP) for organ-confined prostate cancer (PCa), the role of primary treatment with RALP in men with locally advanced (T3 or greater) PCa has not been described in detail.
