Considering the aging dialysis population of today, increasing our knowledge about the nature, diagnosis and the treatment of bone mineral density (BMD) problems in end-stage renal disease (ESRD) patients deserves more attention. Osteoporosis is basicly defined as a decrease in bone mass.
