The search for modern preventive and curative treatment for influenza and other respiratory infections is one of today’s most pressing challenges. This article describes both Russian and foreign experiments involving the use of the homeopathic remedy oscillococcinum. It has been established that oscillococcinum can prevent influenza and acute respiratory virus infection (ARVI), as evidenced by excellent epidemiological indicators. It may also be used for treating these illnesses in different sections of the population.
