Como resultado del estudio de 47 muestras recogidas en diferentes habitats de la isla de La Gomera (Islas Canarias), se obtuvieron 150 especies (5920 ejemplares) pertenecientes a 56 familias del orden Oribatida. El mayor numero de especies pertenece a la familia Oppiidae (15 especies), Oribatulidae (14), Galumnidae y Phthiracaridae (9), Suctobelbidae y Scheloribatidae (8). Las especies mas abundantes en el material recogido son: H. initialis (817 ejemplares, 14%), H. humeralis (374, 6%), Z…
