Order alpha(2) corrections to the decay rate of orthopositronium are calculated in the framework of nonrelativistic QED. The resulting contribution is found to be in significant disagreement with one set of experimental measurements, though another experiment is in agreement with theory.

Two-Loop Corrections to the Decay Rate of Orthopositronium
Order α2 corrections to the decay rate of orthopositronium are calculated in the framework of nonrelativistic QED. The correction is ≈ 45 in units of (α/π)2 times the lowest order rate.
First test of O(α2) correction of the orthopositronium decay rate
Positronium is an ideal system for the research of the bound state QED. New precise measurement of orthopositronium decay rate has been performed with an accuracy of 150 ppm. This result is
Two-Loop Correction to the Orthopositronium Decay Rate
We give a detailed description of our calculation of the O(α 2 ) correction to the orthopositronium decay rate. The resulting correction is 45.06(26) in units of (α/π) 2 times the lowest order rate.
Search for an exotic three-body decay of orthopositronium
Abstract We report on a direct search for a three-body decay of the orthopositronium into a photon and two penetrating particles, o-Ps→ γ +X 1 +X 2 . The existence of this decay could explain the
Anomalous magnetic moment of the positronium ion
We determine the gyromagnetic factor of the positronium ion, a three-body system consisting of two electrons and a positron, including first relativistic corrections. We find that the g-factor is
Ground-state energy and relativistic corrections for positronium hydride
Variational calculations of the ground state of positronium hydride (HPs) are reported, including various expectation values, electron-positron annihilation rates, and leading relativistic
Search for an exotic three-body decay of orthopositronium o-Ps γ + X1 + X2
We carried out a model independent search for an exotic three-body decay of orthopositronium o-Ps γ + X1 + X2 into a photon and two weak interacting particles X1 and X2. The existence of this decay
Experimental Tests of QED in Positronium: Recent Advances
The current experimental situation regarding tests of fundamental physics using positronium is reviewed. Five measurements are discussed and compared with theoretical predictions: the singlet and
Positronium: Theory Versus Experiment
We have collected all known theoretical contributions to the energy levels of positronium and present a complete listing for the states n = 1, 2 and 3. We give the explicit dependence of the energy
Soft photon spectrum in orthopositronium and vector quarkonium decays
QED gauge invariance, when combined with analyticity, leads to constraints on the low energy end of the emitted photon spectra. This is known as Low's theorem. It is shown that the Ore-Powell result,
