BACKGROUND Highly aggressive Burkitt lymphoma (BL) with rapidly progressive painful proptosis of the right eye is rarely encountered. CASE PRESENTATION A 31-year-old Caucasian female presented with rapidly progressive painful proptosis of the right eye and poor visual acuity.
