Probiotics have been considered as preventive agents for the control of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). In this study, we assessed the immunomodulatory effect of Bifidobacterium bifidum BGN4 on the control of IBD using the CD4(+) CD45RB(high) T cell transfer disease model.
