Multiple transmit and receive antennas (MIMO) have been used with orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) for capacity improvement in frequency-selective channels. In certain propagation environments, there exists spatial correlation among channels corresponding to different pairs of transmit and receive antennas.
