In this work, the performance characteristics of a designed oxide confined 420nm InGaN based multiple quantum well (MQW) blue-violet laser have been optimized and presented by varying differential gain. The material gain of In0.1227Ga0.8773N/Al0.08Ga0.92N MQW edge emitting laser (EEL) has been theoretically obtained.
