Polyester fabric was coated with polyurethane (PU) formulation along with fluorine based water repellent compound for making waterproof breathable fabric. The water repellent properties of the coated fabrics were evaluated by measuring water vapor permeability, spray test, contact angle, hydrostatic pressure and rain test.
