We present optical and near-infrared photometry of 45 clusters of galaxies at 0.1 < z < 1.3. Galaxy catalogs in each cluster were defined at the longest wavelength available, generally the K band, down to approximately 2 mag below M*. We include finding chart images of the band used for catalog definition. The photometry has been used in previously published papers to examine the origin and evolution of galaxies in distant clusters.
Cosmic Chronometers: Constraining the Equation of State of Dark Energy. II. A Spectroscopic Catalog of Red Galaxies in Galaxy Clusters
We present a spectroscopic catalog of (mostly) red galaxies in 24 galaxy clusters in the redshift range 0.17 < z < 0.92 obtained with the LRIS instrument on the Keck I telescope. Here we describe theExpand
Extremely red galaxies at z~1

Feedback and brightest cluster galaxy formation: ACS observations of the radio galaxy TN J1338-1942 at z = 4.1
We present deep optical imaging of the z = 4.1 radio galaxy TN J1338-1942, obtained using the Advanced Camera for Surveys (ACS) on board the Hubble Space Telescope, as well as ground-basedExpand
The U-Band Galaxy Luminosity Function of Nearby Clusters
Despite the great potential of the U-band galaxy luminosity function (GLF) to constrain the history of star formation in clusters, to clarify the question of variations of the GLF across filterExpand
Powerful Activity in the Bright Ages. I. A Visible/IR Survey of High Redshift 3C Radio Galaxies and Quasars
We present new rest frame UV and visible observations of 22 high-redshift (1 < z < 2.5) 3C radio galaxies and QSOs obtained with the Hubble Space Telescope's (HST) Wide Field Camera 3 (WFC3)Expand
The Environment of z >1 3CR Radio Galaxies and QSOs: From Proto-Clusters to Clusters of Galaxies?
We study the cluster environment for a sample of 21 radio loud AGN from the 3CR catalog at z>1, 12 radio galaxies and 9 quasars with HST images in the optical and IR. We use two different approachesExpand
Internal kinematics of spiral galaxies in distant clusters - II. Observations and data analysis
We have conducted an observing campaign with the FORS instruments at the ESO-Very Large Telescope to ex- plore the kinematical properties of spiral galaxies in distant galaxy clusters. Our main goalExpand
XMM-LSS discovery of a z= 1.22 galaxy cluster
We present details of the discovery of XLSS J022303.0−043622, a z= 1.2 cluster of galaxies. This cluster was identified from its X-ray properties and selected as a z > 1 candidate from itsExpand
A comparison of properties of different population radio galaxies based on the Planck mission microwave data
Applying the stacking method, we examine the areas of the cosmic microwave background radiation (CMB) maps, constructed according to the Planck SpaceObservatory data in the neighbourhood of differentExpand
The FSVS Cluster Catalogue: Galaxy Clusters and Groups in the Faint Sky Variability Survey
We describe a large sample of 598 galaxy clusters and rich groups discovered in the data of the Faint Sky Variability Survey (FSVS). The clusters have been identified using a fully automated,Expand

Evidence for systematic evolution in the properties of galaxies in distant clusters
This paper investigates the evolution of galaxies as a function of look-back time, primarily using early-type galaxies in rich cluster environments. We demonstrate that, by selecting distant galaxiesExpand
The Evolution of Early-Type Galaxies in Distant Clusters*
We present results from an optical-infrared photometric study of early-type (E+S0) galaxies in 19 galaxy clusters out to z = 0.9. The galaxy sample is selected on the basis of morphologies determinedExpand
X-ray observations of distant blue clusters of galaxies
X-ray observations are reported for a sample of distant clusters for which the percentage of apparent cluster members that are blue has been determined optically. The X-ray properties of the clustersExpand
A Study of Nine High-Redshift Clusters of Galaxies. I. The Survey
We present a description of the observations and data reduction procedures for an extensive spectroscopic and multiband photometric study of nine high-redshift, optically selected cluster candidates.Expand
Evolution of the cluster x-ray luminosity function slope
We report the results of an X-ray survey of 58 clusters of galaxies at moderate and high redshifts. Using a luminosity-limited subsample of 25 objects, we find that to a redshift of 0.5 the slopeExpand
The Homogeneity of Spheroidal Populations in Distant Clusters
The small scatter observed for the (U-V) colors of spheroidal galaxies in nearby clusters of galaxies provides a powerful constraint on the history of star formation in dense environments. However,Expand
A systematic survey for distant galaxy clusters
A photographic survey for faint clusters of galaxies has been carried out with fine-grained photographic emulsions using the 1.2 m Schmidt and 5 m Hale telescopes, as well as the 4 m MayallExpand
