It is suspected that the quantum evolution equations describing the micro-world as we know it are of a special kind that allows transformations to a special set of basis states in Hilbert space, such that, in this basis, the evolution is given by elements of the permutation group. This would restore an ontological interpretation. It is shown how, at low energies per particle degree of freedom, almost any quantum system allows for such a transformation. This contradicts Bell’s theorem, and we…

Quantum mechanics via quantum tomography
Starting from a new basic principle inspired by quantum tomography rather than from Born’s rule, this paper gives an elementary, and self-contained deductive approach to quantum mechanics and quantum

The Cellular Automaton Interpretation of Quantum Mechanics
When investigating theories at the tiniest conceivable scales in nature, almost all researchers today revert to the quantum language, accepting the verdict from the Copenhagen doctrine that the only
"Relative State" Formulation of Quantum Mechanics
The task of quantizing general relativity raises serious questions about the meaning of the present formulation and interpretation of quantum mechanics when applied to so fundamental a structure as
The Many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics
• Physics
• 2015
This volume contains Dr. Everett's short paper from 1957, "'Relative State' Formulation of Quantum Mechanics," and a far longer exposition of his interpretation, entitled "The Theory of the Universal Wave Function," never before published.
ON THE EINSTEIN PODOLSKY ROSEN PARADOX*
THE paradox of Einstein, Podolsky and Rosen [1] was advanced as an argument that quantum mechanics could not be a complete theory but should be supplemented by additional variables. These additional
The Ontology Conservation Law as an Alternative to the Many World Interpretation of Quantum Mechanics
A sharper formulation is presented for an interpretation of quantum mechanics advocated by author, which puts forward conservation laws concerning the ontological nature of a variable, and the uncertainties concerning the realisation of states.
A SUGGESTED INTERPRETATION OF THE QUANTUM THEORY IN TERMS OF "HIDDEN" VARIABLES. II
In this paper, we shall show how the theory of measurements is to be understood from the point of view of a physical interpretation of the quantum theory in terms of hidden variables developed in a

Quantum mechanics (QM) stands apart from other physical theories inasmuch as its elegant and powerful mathematical formalism conceals the lack of a unique, complete, and coherent conceptual frame in
