The performance and behaviour of four different photovoltaic thin film technologies are evaluated for a period of one year at the Alpine latitudes of Bolzano, in the north-east of Italy. The monitored modules are based on: single and double junction amorphous silicon (a-Si), copper indium gallium diselenide (CIGS) and micromorph silicon (a-Si/μc-Si).
