Complementarity between one-particle visibility and two-particle visibility in discrete systems can be extended to bipartite quantum-entangled Gaussian states implemented with continuous-variable quantum optics. The meaning of the two-particle visibility originally defined by Jaeger, Horne, Shimony, and Vaidman with the use of an indirect method that first corrects the two-particle probability distribution by adding and subtracting other distributions with varying degree of entanglement…

Sensitivity of entanglement measures in bipartite pure quantum states

Entanglement measures quantify the amount of quantum entanglement that is contained in quantum states. Typically, different entanglement measures do not have to be partially ordered. The presence of

Complementarity in Two-Particle Interference

TLDR
A duality relation, between the particle distinguishability and the visibility of two-particle interference, is derived and it is shown that the distinguishability of the two particles, arising from some internal degree of freedom, puts a bound on the sharpness of theTwo particles can produce, in a HOM or HBT kind of experiment.

Characterization of two-particle interference by complementarity

Bohr’s Complementarity Principle is quantitatively formulated in terms of the distinguishability of various paths a quanton can take, and the measure of the interference it produces. This phenomenon

Simulation of Afshar’s Double Slit Experiment

Shahriar S. Afshar claimed that his 2007 modified version of the double-slit experiment violates complementarity [1]. He makes two modifications to the standard double-slit experiment. First, he adds
