We consider gauged U(1) extensions of the standard model of particle physics with three right-handed sterile neutrinos and a singlet scalar. The neutrinos obtain mass via the type I seesaw mechanism. We compute the one loop corrections to the elements of the tree level mass matrix of the light neutrinos and show explicitly the cancellation of the gauge dependent terms. We present a general formula for the gauge independent, finite one-loop corrections for arbitrary number new U(1) groups, new…

Super-weakly Coupled U(1)\(_z\) and GeV Neutrinos

The super-weak force combines three simple extensions of the Standard Model, one in gauge sector, one in fermion sector and one in scalar sector. Each of these extensions are well motivated by their

Sterile neutrino dark matter in a U(1) extension of the standard model

We explore the parameter space of a U(1) extension of the standard model — also called the super-weak model — from the point of view of explaining the observed dark matter energy density in the

The super-weak model is a U(1) extension of the Standard Model. In addition to a mediator 𝑍 (cid:48) , a singlet scalar field 𝜒 is added to deal with the meta-stability of the SM vacuum, and

Vacuum stability and scalar masses in the superweak extension of the standard model

We summarize our analysis for the vacuum stability of the superweak extension of the standard model. The parameter space allowed by the 𝑊 -boson mass measurements and collider searches for a new

SWSM phenomenology

The superweak force is a minimal, anomaly-free U(1) extension of the standard model, designed to explain the origin of (i) neutrino masses and mixing matrix elements, (ii) dark matter, (iii) cosmic

Gauge dependence of tadpole and mass renormalization for a seesaw extended 2HDM

We study the gauge dependence of the neutrino mass renormalization in a two Higgs doublet model, that is extended with one singlet seesaw neutrino. This model gives only one light neutrino a mass at

Super-Weak Force and Neutrino Masses

Assuming that the new interaction is responsible for the observed differences between the standard model prediction for the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon or anti-muon and their measured values, the size of the vacuum expectation value of the new scalar field is predicted.

Sterile neutrino dark matter in a U(1) extension of the standard model

We explore the parameter space of a U(1) extension of the standard model — also called the super-weak model — from the point of view of explaining the observed dark matter energy density in the

Renormalization of the multi-Higgs-doublet Standard Model and one-loop lepton mass corrections

A bstractMotivated by models for neutrino masses and lepton mixing, we consider the renormalization of the lepton sector of a general multi-Higgs-doublet Standard Model with an arbitrary number of

On the importance of the 1-loop finite corrections to seesaw neutrino masses

In the standard seesaw mechanism, finite corrections to the neutrino mass matrix arise from 1-loop self-energy diagrams mediated by a heavy neutrino. We study in detail these corrections and

Seesaw Neutrino Mass and New U(1) Gauge Symmetry

Neutrino masses in SU(2) ⊗ U(1) theories

We analyze SU(2)×U(1) theories, denoted by (n, m), in which there are n neutrinos belonging to isodoublets and m neutrino isosinglets. The charged-current weak interactions are described by a

Gauge-independent MS renormalization in the 2HDM

We present a consistent renormalization scheme for the CP-conserving TwoHiggs-Doublet Model based on MS renormalization of the mixing angles and the soft-Z2symmetry-breaking scale Msb in the Higgs

Perturbative Calculations of Symmetry Breaking

The one-loop contributions to fermion and pseudo-Goldstone masses are calculated for the general class of renormalizable guage theories. It is shown explicitly that when the masses are subject to any
