# One-Loop Correction to the AdS/BCFT Partition Function in the Three Dimensional Pure Gravity

@inproceedings{Suzuki2021OneLoopCT, title={One-Loop Correction to the AdS/BCFT Partition Function in the Three Dimensional Pure Gravity}, author={Yukiharu Suzuki}, year={2021} }

We calculate the tree level partition function of Euclidean BTZ black hole with end of the world branes (ETW branes) for arbitrary tension and also the one-loop partition partition function of Euclidean thermal AdS3 with a tensionless ETW brane in the Neumann boundary condition. At the tree level calculation our results match with the previous ones for non-rotating case, but at the one-loop level our results contain unexpected terms, which contain the fluctuations of the ghost fields on the ETW… Expand

One-loop Partition Functions of 3D Gravity

- Physics
- 2008

We consider the one-loop partition function of free quantum field theory in locally Anti-de Sitter space-times. In three dimensions, the one loop determinants for scalar, gauge and graviton… Expand

Quantum gravity partition functions in three dimensions

- Physics
- 2010

We consider pure three-dimensional quantum gravity with a negative cosmological constant. The sum of known contributions to the partition function from classical geometries can be computed exactly,… Expand

Open and closed string interpretation of SUSY CFT's on branes with boundaries

- Physics
- 2001

We consider certain supersymmetric configurations of intersecting branes and branes ending on branes and analyze the duality between their open and closed string interpretation. The examples we study… Expand

Light-cone modular bootstrap and pure gravity

- Physics
- Physical Review D
- 2019

We explore the large spin spectrum in two-dimensional conformal field theories with a finite twist gap, using the modular bootstrap in the light-cone limit. By recursively solving the modular… Expand

Action Integrals and Partition Functions in Quantum Gravity

- Physics
- 1977

One can evaluate the action for a gravitational field on a section of the complexified spacetime which avoids the singularities. In this manner we obtain finite, purely imaginary values for the… Expand

AdS3 black holes and a stringy exclusion principle

- Physics
- 1998

The duality relating near-horizon microstates of black holes obtained as orbifolds of a subset of AdS3 to the states of a conformal field theory is analyzed in detail. The SL(2,R)L?SL(2,R)R invariant… Expand

Quantum scalar field on three-dimensional (BTZ) black hole instanton: Heat kernel, effective action and thermodynamics

- Physics
- 1997

We consider the behavior of a quantum scalar field on three-dimensional Euclidean backgrounds: anti\char21{}de Sitter space, the regular BTZ black hole instanton, and the BTZ instanton with a conical… Expand

A Stress Tensor for Anti-de Sitter Gravity

- Physics

Abstract:We propose a procedure for computing the boundary stress tensor associated with a gravitating system in asymptotically anti-de Sitter space. Our definition is free of ambiguities encountered… Expand

Central charges for BCFTs and holography

- Physics
- 2012

A bstractIn this paper, we study the logarithmic terms in the partition functions of CFTs with boundaries (BCFTs). In three dimensions, their coefficients give the boundary central charges, which are… Expand

The Large-N Limit of Superconformal Field Theories and Supergravity

- Physics
