To identify potential oncogenes that contribute to the development of uterine leiomyosarcoma, we conducted a cDNA microarray analysis between normal uterine smooth muscle and uterine leiomyosarcoma. We found that acrogranin (also named PCDGF or progranulin) is overexpressed in uterine leiomyosarcoma.
