The spinnerets and spigots of two adult femaleDeinopis subrufus and one adult male were studied with the scanning electron microscope. The organization of the spinning apparatus corresponds very closely to that of Uloboridae. The capture threads produced by the male while subadult were studied with the light microscope and with the SEM.
