The postcranial elements of two similar sized and juvenile individuals, along with a partial skull, are attributed to the Early Cretaceous pterosaur Tapejara wellnhoferi. The remains, recovered from a single concretion of the Romualdo Member, Santana Formation, NE-Brazil, represent the first account of multiple specimens having settled together and allow for a complete review of postcranial osteology in tapejarid pterosaurs. A comparison of long bone morphometrics indicates that all specimens…
Osteology of an exceptionally well-preserved tapejarid skeleton from Brazil: Revealing the anatomy of a curious pterodactyloid clade
TLDR
The new specimen comprises an almost complete skeleton, preserving both the skull and post-cranium, associated with remarkable preservation of soft tissues, which makes it the most complete tapejarid known thus far.
New postcranial elements of the Thalassodrominae (Pterodactyloidea, Tapejaridae) from the Romualdo Formation (Aptian–Albian), Santana Group, Araripe Basin, Brazil
TLDR
New postcranial material from the Romualdo Formation (Aptian–Albian) from the Araripe Basin is described, which is the most complete postc Cranial material assigned to the Thalassodrominae described so far.
Cervical vertebrae of an enigmatic pterosaur from the Crato Formation (Lower Cretaceous, Araripe Basin, NE Brazil)
TLDR
It is concluded that a new find represented by four articulated mid-cervical vertebrae provides further support for the presence of chaoyangopterids in the Early Cretaceous of Brazil.
Comments on the cervical vertebrae of the Tapejaridae (Pterosauria, Pterodactyloidea) with description of new specimens
TLDR
Comparison studies refer AMNH 22568 and MN 4728-V to the Thalassodrominae and AMNH 24445 to the Tapejarinae, helping to differentiate the cervical elements of these clades.
Discovery of a Rare Pterosaur Bone Bed in a Cretaceous Desert with Insights on Ontogeny and Behavior of Flying Reptiles
TLDR
The available information suggests that this species was gregarious, living in colonies, and most likely precocial, being able to fly at a very young age, which might have been a general trend for at least derived pterosaurs.

TLDR
A new unusual tapejarid pterosaur from the Early Cretaceous Romualdo Formation (Araripe Basin, Brazil) is described, based on a skull, lower jaw and some postcranial elements, demonstrating that the evolution of palatal region in pterosaurs is more complex than previously thought.
An unusual edentulous pterosaur from the Early Cretaceous Romualdo Formation of Brazil
Numerous taxa make up the Early Cretaceous fauna of Brazil, including Ornithocheiroidea, Tapejaridae, Thalassodromidae, Chaoyangopteridae and a purported member of Azhdarchidae. Dsungaripteridae has
New Material of Sinopterus (Pterosauria, Tapejaridae) from the Early Cretaceous Jehol Biota of China.
TLDR
A new juvenile specimen of Sinopterus atavismus from the Jiufotang Formation of western Liaoning, China is reported, revising the diagnosis of this species, which does not present a square-like crest and may be related to ontogeny.
A new toothed pterosaur (Pterodactyloidea: Anhangueridae) from the Early Cretaceous Romualdo Formation, NE Brazil.
TLDR
The lateral surface of the premaxillary crest shows grooves and tridimensional structures that may have housed blood vessels in the Anhangueridae from the Araripe Basin described.

New information on the Tapejaridae (Pterosauria, Pterodactyloidea) and discussion of the relationships of this clade
Abstract. A phylogenetic analysis indicates that the Tapejaridae is a monophyletic group of pterodactyloid pterosaurs, diagnosed by the following synapomorphies: premaxillary sagittal crest that
New Material of Pterosaur Sinopterus (Reptilia: Pterosauria) from the Early Cretaceous Jiufotang Formation, Western Liaoning, China
TLDR
Comparison between the ratios of the limb bones between non-adult and adult individuals of Sinopterus indicates that during the ontogenetic process, some ratios between bones are constant, but others are not, such as humerus to wing metacarpal and femur to tibia, in which the former grows faster than the latter.
A new pterosaur (Pterodactyloidea, Tapejaridae) from the Early Cretaceous Jiufotang Formation of western Liaoning, China and its implications for biostratigraphy
In this article we describe a new and exceptionally well-preserved pterodactyloid pterosaur,Sinopterus dongi gen. et sp. nov. from the Jiufotang Formation in western Liaoning Province of northeast
Postcranial pneumaticity: An evaluation of soft‐tissue influences on the postcranial skeleton and the reconstruction of pulmonary anatomy in archosaurs
TLDR
An examination of regional pneumaticity in extant avians reveals remarkably consistent patterns of diverticular invasion of bone, and thus provides increased resolution for inferring specific components of the pulmonary air sac system in their nonavian theropod ancestors.
A New Species of Huaxiapterus (Pterosauria: Pterodactyloidea) from the Lower Cretaceous of Western Liaoning, China with Comments on the Systematics of Tapejarid Pterosaurs
TLDR
A new species of tapejarid pterosaur is erected on the basis of a nearly complete skull and postcranial skeleton from the Lower Cretaceous Jiufotang Formation of Liaoning Province, China and it is proposed that Tapejaridae be restricted to Tapejara, Sinopterus and Huaxiapters.
