I 2012, the eighth meeting of persistent organic pollutants review committee (POPRC) of the Stockholm Convention (SC) resulted in the postponement of the review of the draft risk profile of short-chain chlorinated paraffins (SCCPs) to its eleventh meeting. From 2007 to 2012, the draft risk profile of SCCPs has been reviewed five times (except in 2011).
