In the Northeast Atlantic several polynoid species have been confused in the past due to similarities in their elytral characters: Harmothoe globifera (G.O.Sars, 1873), Eunoe nodosa (M. Sars, 1861), Eunoe oerstedi Malmgren, 1866, Leucia nivea (M. Sars, 1863), and Acanthicolepis zibrowii n. sp., a new species from deep cold-water corals. The five species are redescribed and figured based on type and additional material. An identification key allowing also the identification of juveniles and…
A new species of the genus Intoshella Darboux, 1899 (Polychaeta: Polynoidae) commensal with a deep-sea sponge from a seamount near the Mariana Trench
A new species of the polynoid genus Intoshella Darboux, 1899 was found inside a deep-sea hexactinellid sponge collected by the ROV ‘Faxian’ from a seamount near the Mariana Trench at a depth of 890
Original specimens and type localities of early described polychaete species (Annelida) from Norway, with particular attention to species described by O.F. Müller and M. Sars
TLDR
Early descriptions of species from Norwegian waters are reviewed, with a focus on the basic requirements for reassessing their characteristics, in particular, by clarifying the status of the original material and locating sampling sites.

TLDR
A check-list of the 42 species of scale-worm polychaetes collected during the “Fauna Iberica II, III and IV” cruises, as well as the data on the corresponding sampling stations, is presented.
A Checklist of Marine Invertebrates (Polychaetes, Amphipods, Decapods and Molluscs) of Goseong-gun Gangwon-do Area
TLDR
The study examined marine invertebrates (polychaetes, amphipods, decapods and molluscs) living in Goseong-gun, Gangwon-do, and found 311 species of 99 families of marine inverts living in the waters to be included in the inventory created.
Biodiversity data and new species descriptions of polychaetes from offshore waters of the Falkland Islands, an area undergoing hydrocarbon exploration
TLDR
Biodiversity and abundance data are made available through a DarwinCore database, including material collected from 83 stations at Sea Lion developmental oil field in North Falklands Basin and voucher specimens’ data collected from exploratory oil wells in East Falkland Basin.
UHI Research Database pdf download summary Ecological adaptations and commensal evolution of the Polynoidae (Polychaeta) in the Southwest Indian Ocean Ridge: a phylogenetic approach. Serpetti,
TLDR
The taxonomic relationships within the species under study are assessed, and the potential role of hosts in speciation processes is assessed, although the obligate coral commensal species appear to be monophyletic.
Polychaetes of Greece: an updated and annotated checklist
TLDR
This checklist revises the status of all extant polychaete species reported from the Greek Exclusive Economic Zone since 1832 and provides information on 836 species-level taxa from Greece, of which 142 are considered questionable.
