This paper, which deals with the stability of adaptive observers for induction motor in the regenerating mode, proposes a new approach that is consist of describing the error system in state space representation. With this formulation, it is possible to establish a cartography of unstable eigenvalues in the torque/speed plane, thus simplifying the stability analysis.
