Agility metrics are difficult to define in general, mainly due to the multidimensionality and vagueness of the concept of agility itself. In this paper, a knowledge-based framework is proposed and presented as a candidate solution for the measurement and assessment of manufacturing agility. Given an enterprise, in order to calculate its overall agility, a set of quantitatively defined agility parameters is proposed and grouped into production, market, people and information infrastructures. The…

AGILITY EVALUATION IN PUBLIC SECTOR USING FUZZY LOGIC

A knowledge-based framework is proposed for the measurement and assessment of public sector agility using the A.T.Kearney model and the absolute agility index is used together with fuzzy logic to address the ambiguity in agility evaluation in public sector in a case study.

AGILITY EVALUATION IN FUZZY ENVIRONMENT

A fuzzy logic, knowledge-based framework is intended to be developed for the assessment of an enterprise's agility; as a case study, and the study is aimed to be extended to identify agile barriers (obstacles towards achieving agility).

AGILITY EVALUATION IN FUZZY ENVIRONMENT SANTOSH

A fuzzy logic, knowledge-based framework is intended to be developed for the assessment of an enterprise’s agility; as a case study, and the study is aimed to be extended to identify agile barriers (obstacles towards achieving agility).

A Strategic Model for Measuring Agility with Fuzzy Logic

This paper presents a model for organizational agility and then suggests a knowledge-based methodology for measuring agility that uses expert knowledge and includes implementation of fuzzy logic methods and terminology.

Project agility assessment: an integrated decision analysis approach

Agility is the ability of a project to respond to a changing environment effectively. This may include the capability of a project to be adapted to the dynamism that exists in the stakeholders’

Fuzzy Approach to Measure Manufacturing Agility along with Developing Fuzzy Inference Systems in MATLAB

Fuzzy inference systems (FIS) are designed, in several steps: fuzzification, aggregation of antecedents, inferencing, composition, and defuzzification, where the key idea of the model in measurement is the involvement of all distinct dimensions and corresponding operational parameters in the determination of the overall agility.

Implementing agility appraisement module in fuzzy context: an Indian perspective

A fuzzy logic, knowledge-based framework has been presented for the assessment of an enterprise’s agility; in an Indian perspective; and the necessary expertise explored to quantitatively determine and evaluate overall agility degree has been represented via fuzzy expert systems.
