The hypothesis on a minimal scale existence in the Universe leads to noncommutative geometry of Spacetime and thence to a modification of the Special Relativity constraint. Sidharth has deduced that this is equivalent to the Lorentz symmetry violation. This latter consideration was also used by Glashow, Coleman and other scholars though based on purely phenomenological models that have been suggested by the observation of Ultra High Energy Cosmic Rays and Gamma Bursts. On the other hand a…

Possible cosmogenic neutrino constraints on Planck-scale Lorentz violation

We study, within an effective field theory framework, O(E2MPl2) Planck-scale suppressed Lorentz invariance violation (LV) effects in the neutrino sector, whose size we parameterize by a dimensionless

Scalar field theory on noncommutative Snyder spacetime

We construct a scalar field theory on the Snyder noncommutative space-time. The symmetry underlying the Snyder geometry is deformed at the co-algebraic level only, while its Poincare algebra is

Kappa Snyder deformations of Minkowski spacetime, realizations, and Hopf algebra

We present Lie-algebraic deformations of Minkowski space with undeformed Poincare algebra. These deformations interpolate between Snyder and {kappa}-Minkowski space. We find realizations of

Planck-scale Lorentz violation constrained by Ultra-High-Energy Cosmic Rays

We investigate the consequences of higher dimension Lorentz violating, CPT even kinetic operators that couple standard model fields to a non-zero vector field in an Effective Field Theory framework.

Ju n 20 10 Scalar Field Theory on Non-commutative Snyder Space-Time

We construct a scalar field theory on the Snyder non-commutative space-time. The symmetry underlying the Snyder geometry is deformed at the co-algebraic level only, while its Poincaré algebra is

NONCOMMUTATIVE SPACETIME, MASS GENERATION, AND OTHER EFFECTS

In this paper, we show how it is possible to obtain mass generation in the context of non-Abelian gauge field theory, using a noncommutative spacetime. This is further confirmed by the modified

Kappa-deformed Snyder spacetime

We present Lie-algebraic deformations of Minkowski space with undeformed Poincare algebra. These deformations interpolate between Snyder and kappa-Minkowski space. We find realizations of
