The new genus Indoapterolampra, gen. nov. and two new species (I. rugosiuscula sp. nov. and Morphna lucida sp. nov.) are described. Rhabdoblatta praecipua (Walker, 1868) is removed from the synonymy with 'Polyzosteria' terranea Walker, 1868. The latter species is considered Epilamprinae gen. sp. The lectotype of Phoraspis (Thorax) porcellana Saussure, 1862 is designated. A key for the genera of Epilamprinae from South India and Sri Lanka is provided. Detailed morphological descriptions of the…
New data on cockroaches of the subfamily Epilamprinae (Dictyoptera: Blaberidae) from India and Sri Lanka, with descriptions of new species and the genital complex of Aptera fusca (Thunberg, 1784).
TLDR
A revised key to the genera of Epilamprinae from South India and Sri Lanka and detailed morphological descriptions of new species are provided and the structure of the female genital complex of Aptera fusca is described for the first time.
New data on the subfamily Epilamprinae (Dictyoptera, Blaberidae) of the New World, with description of a new genus and a new species from Ecuador
Detailed morphological redescriptions of cockroaches of the subfamily Epilamprinae Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1865 from the New World based on the collection of the Zoological Institute of the Russian
Establishment of a new genus, Brephallus Wang et al., gen. nov. (Blattodea, Blaberidae, Epilamprinae) based on two species from Pseudophoraspis, with details of polymorphism in species of Pseudophoraspis
Abstract Brephallus Wang et al., gen. n. is established as a genus distinct from Pseudophoraspis Kirby, 1903 because of the lack of a well-developed apical outgrowth on sclerite L2D and substantial
New genus and species of cockroaches, Coriaceolamprodes rubidusgen. et sp. nov. (Dictyoptera: Blaberidae: Epilamprinae), from the island of Borneo (Sarawak)
TLDR
This genus is closely related to the genera with asymmetrical armament of tarsi, but readily differs from these genera by the nearly symmetric hypandrium and the unique pressbutton-like shape of the apex of sclerite L3 of the male genitalia.
New data on the family Blaberidae (Dictyoptera) from Southeast Asia: new species, morphological diversity and phylogeny on the base of ribosomal DNA sequences
TLDR
New cockroaches of the family Blaberidae are described from Southern Sumatra; Structures of the male genitalia of the genus Cyrtonotula are described for the first time and Hypothesis on the relationships of these new taxa as well as Morphna maculata Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1865 is discussed.
New data on the genus Pycnoscelus Scudder, 1862 with the description of P. schwendingeri sp. nov. (Blaberidae: Pycnoscelinae)
TLDR
The structure of the female genital complex, i.e. anal and genital plates, ovipositor and adjacent structures, of Pycnoscelus surinamensis and the male genitalia of P. striatus are redescribed.
New and little known Epilamprinae (Dictyoptera: Blaberidae) from the collections of the Muséum d'histoire naturelle de Genève and the Zoological Institute of Saint Petersburg. Part 1
TLDR
Figs 16 - 23 show the structure of the ovipositor in females of Africalolampra erubescens and Audreia carinulata and their paralectotype, as well as the distribution of membranous parts in these females.
Establishment of six new Rhabdoblatta species (Blattodea, Blaberidae, Epilamprinae) from China
TLDR
It is shown that combining molecular species delimitation methods with morphological data helps to delimit species and understand cockroach biodiversity and six new species were established among these samples.
New and little known Epilamprinae (Dictyoptera: Blaberidae) from the collections of the Muséum d'histoire naturelle de Genève and the Zoological Institute of Saint Petersburg. Part 4
Abstract: A new species of cockroach, Placoblatta semialata sp. nov., is described from Sulawesi. The names of the tribes Notolamprini Roth, 1971 syn. nov. and Colapteroblattini Roth & Gutiérrez,
On the Taxonomic Position of the Genus Stictomorphna Bruijning, 1948 (Dictyoptera, Blaberidae)
TLDR
A detailed morphological description of the type species of the genus Stictomorphna, S. mjobergi, and some other genera of Epilamprinae probably corresponding to the tribe Morphnini McKittrick, 1964, are given.
