We study a new approach for the wormhole construction in Einstein–Born–Infeld gravity, which does not require exotic matters in the Einstein equation. The Born–Infeld field equation is not modified by coordinate independent conditions of continuous metric tensor and its derivatives, even though the Born–Infeld fields have discontinuities in their derivatives at the throat in general. We study the relation of the newly introduced conditions with the usual continuity equation for the energy…

Wormholes in Einstein-Born-Infeld Gravity
We introduce a new approach to construct wormholes without introducing exotic matters in Einstein-Born-Infeld gravity with a cosmological constant. Contary to the conventional approach, the throat is
Quasi-normal modes of a natural AdS wormhole in Einstein–Born–Infeld Gravity
We study the matter perturbations of a new AdS wormhole in $$(3+1)$$(3+1)-dimensional Einstein–Born–Infeld gravity, called “natural wormhole”, which does not require exotic matters. We discuss the
Ricci-Based Gravity theories and their impact on Maxwell and nonlinear electromagnetic models
Abstract We extend the correspondence between metric-affine Ricci-Based Gravity the- ories and General Relativity (GR) to the case in which the matter sector is represented by linear and nonlinear
Wormholes, energy conditions and time machines

Quasi-normal modes and stability of Einstein–Born–Infeld black holes in de Sitter space
We study gravitational perturbations of electrically charged black holes in (3+1)-dimensional Einstein-Born-Infeld gravity with a positive cosmological constant. For the axial perturbations, we

Stable Lorentzian Wormholes in Dilatonic Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet Theory
TLDR
A comprehensive study of Lorentzian wormholes in dilatonic Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet theory in four spacetime dimensions is performed, and a generalised Smarr relation is derived for these wormholes.
Traversable wormholes and non-singular black holes from the vacuum of quadratic gravity
We present new traversable wormhole and non-singular black hole solutions in pure, scale-free $R^2$ gravity. These exotic solutions require no null energy condition violating or "exotic" matter and
Letter: Charged Black Hole Solutions in Einstein-Born-Infeld Gravity with a Cosmological Constant
We construct black hole solutions to Einstein-Born-Infeld gravity with a cosmological constant. Since an elliptic function appears in the solutions for the metric, we construct horizons numerically.
Wormhole throats in Rm gravity
We consider wormhole geometries subject to a gravitational action consisting of nonlinear powers of the Ricci scalar. Specifically, wormhole throats are studied in the case where Einstein gravity is
Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet traversable wormholes satisfying the weak energy condition
TLDR
Higher-dimensional asymptotically flat wormhole geometries in the framework of Gauss-Bonnet (GB) gravity are explored and the effects of the GB term are investigated by considering a specific radial-dependent redshift function and by imposing a particular equation of state.

TLDR
No such solution is round, suggesting that a Lorentzian wormhole without the violation or the weak energy condition is incompatible with a wide class or gravitational theories.
General class of braneworld wormholes
TLDR
In this work, a general class of braneworld wormholes is explored with R{ne}0, where R is the four dimensional Ricci scalar, and specific solutions are further analyzed.
Possible wormholes in a brane world
The condition R=0, where R is the four-dimensional scalar curvature, is used for obtaining a large class (with an arbitrary function of r) of static, spherically symmetric Lorentzian wormhole
