Talwani (1998) shows that the differences between the values for the Bullard B correction published in Swick (1942) and those I calculated (LaFehr, 1991b) owe their existence to the fact that we now use a different gravitational constant. I am grateful to Talwani for pointing this out and regret that this simple (and now obvious) explanation had not occurred to me.
