The main functions and implementations of Fujian on-line voltage stability monitoring & control (VSMC) system is presented in this paper. The salient feature of VSMC is that the on-line voltage stability close-loop control is realized partly by interfacing with the existing automatic voltage control (AVC) system. Within the scan period of 5 minutes, the load margins of current operational state and about 260 credible contingencies are computed at totally 10 different predefined load directions…

TLDR
The aim of this MSc Thesis was to achieve power balance control in decentralised way and a control algorithm was developed to provide stable robust operation for the grid incorporating features from different control techniques.
Self-Forecasting Energy Load Stakeholders for Smart Grids
TLDR
This work uses Smart Grids as foundation to build a solution that enables active contribution of the traditionally passive consumers and assesses the forecast accuracy impact on small scale aggregations and relevance of energy storage solutions to absorb the forecast errors.
Adoption of Smart Grid Framework Which Tracks Power Consumption of Household Appliances in Zimbabwe
TLDR
The researchers recommended energy authorities to engage with power customers to craft a policy that govern remote monitoring and controlling of electrical appliances’ power consumption to ensure complete adoption of smart grid.
Sensing in power distribution networks via large numbers of smart meters
TLDR
It is argued how a large network of distributed smart meters can be used for analytics of the smart grid, based on the experiences in developing a smart metering platform that is currently monitoring approximately 5000 real smart meters.
