This paper discusses a new concept which entails PLC nodes to on-line determine their working frequency that best fits the local conditions. This optimization often is inevitable for PLC to establish reliable link in many situations. For access network a wide frequency range is proposed for this frequency optimization which exceeds current narrow band and broadband frequency separation.
