In this study, during October 2007 till April 2008 two hundred specimens of Rutilus frisii kutum with an average weight of 1±0.2 kg were parasitologically examined through cutting the body and the abdominal part, digestive tract and other ventral organs. Upon inspection, 148 specimens of fish (74%) were detected to be infected with internal trematodes of Aspidogaster limacoides and nematodes. Thus 119 specimens of the fish (i.e 59.5%) were infected with Asymphylodora kubanicum which in terms of…

HELMINTH COMMUNITIES AND ECOLOGICAL APPRAISAL FOR THE CONDITION OF THE VELEKA RIVER, BLACK SEA REGION, BULGARIA
TLDR
The obtained results for the parasite communities of R. frisii and A. chalcoides correspond and are in close connection with dependence of the biology and ecology of the determined species of helminthes and the place of the intermediate hosts as bioindicators for the status of the studied natural freshwater ecosystems.
The Study of Morphometric and Molecular Paradiplozoon chazarikum Parasite in Caspian Sea the Rutilus frisii kutum
TLDR
The morphometric study of the parasite using a valid parasitological key as well as the sequence obtained from Paradiplozoon chazaricum parasite was compared with the sequence recorded in the gene bank.
A checklist of the aspidogastrea (platyhelminthes: trematoda) of the world.
TLDR
The majority of records include bivalves, whereas records from bony fishes represent 32% of host-parasite associations, and a limited number of molecular studies on aspidogastreans does not allow us to unravel phylogenetic relationships within the AspidogASTrea.
The first determination of Eustrongylides excisus Jägerskiöld, 1909 — larvae (Nematoda: Dioctophymatidae) in the pike-perch Sander lucioperca in Vojvodina (Serbia)
TLDR
This finding represents the first determination of the larvae in the pike-perch in Serbia, which is infected by ingestion of benthos- or plankton-eating fishes, the second intermediate hosts harbouring the fourth-stage nematode larvae.
Occurrence of Eustrongylides excisus Jägerskiöld , 1909 Larvae ( Nematoda : Dioctophymatidae ) in Pikeperch ( Sander lucioperca , L . ) in Lake Eğirdir
TLDR
Parasite was detected in abdominal cavity, peritoneum, muscle, adipose tissue, liver, spleen, swim bladder and stomach of fish, and the prevalence of Eustrongylides excisus larvae were determined as 100 % in this period.
EUSTRONGYLIDOSIS OF EUROPEAN CATFISH (SILURIS GLANIS)
TLDR
The investigations were conducted in spring 2012 on Danube–Tisa–Danube Canal in the territory of Novi Sad where were collected 52 samples of European catfi sh (Siluris glanis) weighting 250–450 g and nematodes were determined as Eustrongylides sp.
Agricultural Academy EUSTRONGYLIDOSIS OF EUROPEAN CATFISH ( SILURIS GLANIS )
TLDR
Investigations on Danube–Tisa–Danube Canal in the territory of Novi Sad found presence of nematodes in the abdominal cavity, musculature, in the lumen of the stomach and encapsulated in stomach wall was revealed in 6 individuals after examination.
