Spin correlations in the production of top-antitop quark ($$t{\bar{t}}$$ t t ¯ ) pairs at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) are an experimentally verified prediction of the Standard Model. In this paper, we compute the full spin density matrix for $$t{\bar{t}}Z$$ t t ¯ Z production at next-to-leading order precision in QCD, for center-of-mass energies of 13 and 14 $$\text {TeV}$$ TeV . We find that the additional emission of a Z boson leads to…

The top quark electro-weak couplings after LHC Run 2
Abstract Recent measurements at the Large Hadron Collider allow for a robust and precise characterisation of the electro-weak interactions of the top quark. We present the results of a global

Pinning down electroweak dipole operators of the top quark
We consider hadronic top quark pair production and pair production in association with a photon or a Z boson to probe electroweak dipole couplings in $$t\bar{b}W$$tb¯W, $$ t \bar{t}\gamma $$tt¯γ, and
Measurements of top-quark pair spin correlations in the $$e\mu $$ channel at $$\sqrt{s} = 13$$ TeV using pp collisions in the ATLAS detector
A measurement of observables sensitive to spin correlations in $t\bar{t}$ production is presented, using 36.1 $\hbox {fb}^{-1}$ of pp collision data at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV recorded with the ATLAS
A set of top quark spin correlation and polarization observables for the LHC: Standard Model predictions and new physics contributions
A bstractWe consider top-antitop quark (tt¯$$ t\overline{t} $$) production at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) with subsequent decay into dileptonic and lepton plus jets final states. We present a set
Associated top quark pair production with a heavy boson: differential cross sections at NLO + NNLL accuracy
We present theoretical predictions for selected differential cross sections for the process $$pp \rightarrow t {\bar{t}}B$$ p p → t t ¯ B at the LHC, where B can be a Higgs ( H ), a Z or a W boson.
Probing the spin correlations of $$t{\bar{t}} $$ production at NLO QCD+EW
In this work we investigate the NLO QCD+EW corrections to the top quark pair production and their effects on the spin correlation coefficients and asymmetries at fixed-order top quark pair production
A study of ${\mathrm{b}}\bar{\mathrm{b}}$ production in e+e− collisions at $\sqrt{s}=130$ –207 GeV
AbstractMeasurements are presented of Rb, the ratio of the ${\mathrm{b}}\bar{\mathrm{b}}$ cross-section to the ${\mathrm{q}}\bar{\mathrm{q}}$ cross-section in e+e− collisions, and the
A Monte Carlo global analysis of the Standard Model Effective Field Theory: the top quark sector
A bstractWe present a novel framework for carrying out global analyses of the Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT) at dimension-six: SMEFiT. This approach is based on the Monte Carlo replica
A new twist on top quark spin correlations
A bstractTop-antitop pairs produced at hadron colliders are largely unpolarized, but their spins are highly correlated. The structure of these correlations varies significantly over top production
