We study the observational constraints on the Phantom Crossing DGP model. We demonstrate that the crossing of the phantom divide does not occur within the framework of the original Dvali-Gabadadze-Porrati (DGP) model or the DGP model developed by Dvali and Turner. By extending their model in the framework of an extra dimension scenario, we study a model that realizes crossing of the phantom divide. We investigate the cosmological constraints obtained from the recent observational data of Type… Expand

Observational tests of Galileon gravity with growth rate

Hubble parameter data constraints on dark energy
Abstract We use Hubble parameter versus redshift data from Stern et al. (2010) [1] and Gaztanaga et al. (2009) [2] to place constraints on model parameters of constant and time-evolving dark energyExpand

Cosmological Friedmann equation in infrared modified Hořava–Lifshitz gravity via generalized Misner–Sharp mass
In various gravity theories, Friedmann equations can be cast to a form of the first law of thermodynamics in a Friedmann–Robertson–Walker (FRW) cosmological setup. However, this result failed inExpand

Phantom Crossing DGP Gravity
We propose a phantom crossing Dvali--Gabadadze--Porrati (DGP) model. In our model, the effective equation of state of the DGP gravity crosses the phantom divide line. We demonstrate crossing of theExpand
Constraining Dvali-Gabadadze-Porrati gravity from observational data
The accelerating expansion of our Universe at present could be driven by an unknown energy component (dark energy) or a modification of general relativity (modified gravity). In this paper we revisitExpand
