Resonant structures in B^{0}→ψ^{'}π^{-}K^{+} decays are analyzed by performing a four-dimensional fit of the decay amplitude, using pp collision data corresponding to 3  fb^{-1} collected with the LHCb detector. The data cannot be described with K^{+}π^{-} resonances alone, which is confirmed with a model-independent approach. A highly significant Z(4430)^{-}→ψ^{'}π^{-} component is required, thus confirming the existence of this state. The observed evolution of the Z(4430)^{-} amplitude with… Expand

Model-Independent Observation of Exotic Contributions to B^{0}→J/ψK^{+}π^{-} Decays.
An angular analysis of B^{0}→J/ψK^{+}π^{-} decays is performed, using proton-proton collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3  fb^{-1} collected with the LHCb detector, rejecting the K*-only hypothesis with a large significance. Expand
Observation of J/ψϕ Structures Consistent with Exotic States from Amplitude Analysis of B^{+}→J/ψϕK^{+} Decays.
Four J/ψϕ structures are observed, each with significance over 5 standard deviations, and the quantum numbers of these structures are determined with significance of at least 4 standard deviations. Expand
Evidence for Exotic Hadron Contributions to Λ_{b}^{0}→J/ψpπ^{-} Decays.
The data support a model containing all three exotic states, with a significance of more than three standard deviations, and are consistent with the P_{c}(4380)^{+} and P(4450)^{-} production rates expected from their previous observation taking account of Cabibbo suppression. Expand
Observation of J/ψp Resonances Consistent with Pentaquark States in Λ_{b}^{0}→J/ψK^{-}p Decays.
To obtain a satisfactory fit of the structures seen in the J/ψp mass spectrum, it is necessary to include two Breit-Wigner amplitudes that each describe a resonant state. Expand
Observation of the decay Λb0 → ψ(2S)pπ−
A bstractThe Cabibbo-suppressed decay Λb0 → ψ(2S)pπ− is observed for the first time using a data sample collected by the LHCb experiment in proton-proton collisions corresponding to 1.0, 2.0 and 1.9Expand
Amplitude analysis of D^{0} → π^{+} π^{-} π^{+} π^{-} decays using CLEO-c data
The resonant substructure of the decay D → ππππ is studied by performing a full five-dimensional amplitude analysis. Preliminary results based on data collected by the CLEO-c detector are presented.Expand
Studies of Excited $D$ mesons in $B$ meson decays
This thesis documents the studies of several three-body B + meson decays, each with a charged charmed meson in the final state. All analyses presented use a data sample recorded by the LHCb detectorExpand
Theoretical study on photoproduction of the charged charmoniumlike $Z_{c}^{+}(4200)$
• Physics

In this work, inspired by the observation of charmoniumlike $Z_{c}^{+}(4200)$%, we study the photoproduction of the charged charmoniumlike $Z_{c}^{+}(4200)$ with an effective Lagrangian approach andExpand
Observation of the Semileptonic Decay D^{0}→a_{0}(980)^{-}e^{+}ν_{e} and Evidence for D^{+}→a_{0}(980)^{0}e^{+}ν_{e}.
This is the first time the a_{0}(980) meson has been measured in a D^{0} semileptonic decay, which would open one more interesting page in the investigation of the nature of the puzzling a-state states. Expand
Study of the ψ2(3823) and χc1(3872) states in B+ → (J/ψπ+π−)K+ decays
The decays B+ → J/ψπ+π−K+ are studied using a data set corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb−1 collected with the LHCb detector in proton-proton collisions between 2011 and 2018. PreciseExpand
