The first full amplitude analysis of B^{+}→J/ψϕK^{+} with J/ψ→μ^{+}μ^{-}, ϕ→K^{+}K^{-} decays is performed with a data sample of 3  fb^{-1} of pp collision data collected at sqrt[s]=7 and 8 TeV with the LHCb detector. The data cannot be described by a model that contains only excited kaon states decaying into ϕK^{+}, and four J/ψϕ structures are observed, each with significance over 5 standard deviations. The quantum numbers of these structures are determined with significance of at least 4…

Amplitude analysis of the B+→D+D−K+ decay

Results are reported from an amplitude analysis of the $B^+\to D^+D^-K^+$ decay. The analysis is carried out using LHCb proton-proton collision data taken at $\sqrt{s}=7,8,$ and $13$ TeV,

Amplitude analysis of $B^+\to J/\psi \phi K^+$ decays

The first full amplitude analysis of $B^+ \to J/\psi\phi K^+$ with $J/\psi \to \mu^+\mu^−, \phi \to K^+ K^−$ decays is performed with a data sample of 3  $fb^{−1}$ of $pp$ collision data collected at

Observation and branching fraction measurement of B+ → ψ(2S) φ K+ at √s = 8 TeV in CMS & Hadron Shower development studies using Geant4 simulations

Heavy quark decays provide a very advantageous opportunity to test the Standard Model (SM). Recently, promising experiments with b quark, as well as the analysis of the huge data sets produced at the

$X$ and $Z_{cs}$ in $B^+\to J/\psi\phi K^+$ as $s$-wave threshold cusps and alternative spin-parity assignments to $X(4274)$ and $X(4500)$

Recent LHCb’s amplitude analysis on B + → J/ψφK + suggests the existence of exotic X and Z cs hadrons, based on an assumption that Breit-Wigner resonances describe all the peak structures. However,

Probing new types of Pc states inspired by the interaction between an S -wave charmed baryon and an anticharmed meson in a T¯ doublet state

Inspired by the observations of three $P_c$ states, we systematically investigate interactions between an $S$-wave charmed baryon $\mathcal{B}_{c}^{(*)}=\Lambda_c/\Sigma_c/\Sigma_c^{*}$ and an

Data-based analysis of the Forward-Backward Asymmetry in B ± → K

An analysis of the Forward-Backward Asymmetry (FBA) in the decay B± → K±K∓K± is carried out based on the LHCb data. It is found that the large FBA observed for the invariant mass of the K+K− pair

Revisit the $Z_c(4025)$ structure observed by BESIII in the $e^+e^- \to (D^*\bar{D}^*)^{\pm,0}\pi^{\mp,0}$ reactions at $\sqrt{s}=4.26$ GeV

Within the framework of the local hidden gauge formalism, we have reanalyzed the hidden-charm vectorvector meson D∗D̄∗, K∗K̄∗, and ρρ interactions with the quantum numbers I(J) = 1(1). The estimation

Reanalysis of X(4140) as axial-vector tetraquark state with QCD sum rules

In this article, we take X(4140) as the diquark–antidiquark type $$cs\bar{c}\bar{s}$$csc¯s¯ tetraquark state with $$J^{PC}=1^{++}$$JPC=1++, and we study the mass and pole residue with the QCD sum

Exotic hadrons in the Λb→J/ψϕΛ decay

We study the weak decay of the ${\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Lambda}}}_{b}$ baryon into $J/\ensuremath{\psi}\ensuremath{\phi}\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Lambda}}$, a process that is particularly well suited to

Amplitude Analysis of B^{±}→π^{±}K^{+}K^{-} Decays.

This component has the largest CP asymmetry reported to date for a single amplitude of (-66±4±2)%, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic.

Observation of the resonant character of the Z(4430)(-) state.

The observed evolution of the Z(4430)^{-} amplitude with the ψ^{  fb^{-1} mass establishes the resonant nature of this particle.

Evidence for a narrow near-threshold structure in the J/psivarphi mass spectrum in B;{+} --> J/psivarphiK;{+} decays.

Evidence is reported for a narrow structure near the J/psivarphi threshold in exclusive B;{+} --> J/psivarphiK;{+} decays produced in p[over]p collisions at sqrt[s] = 1.96 TeV. A signal of 14 +/- 5

Inclusive Production of the X(4140) State in pp[over ¯] Collisions at D0.

The first evidence for the prompt production of an X(4140) state is reported and the fraction of X( 4140) events originating from b hadrons is found to be f_{b}=0.39±0.10(syst).

We study the rare B meson decays B^(±,0)→J/ψK^+K^−K^(±,0), B^(±,0) → J/ψϕK^(±,0), and search for B^0→J/ψϕ, using 469×10^6 BB¯ events collected at the Υ(4S) resonance with the BABAR detector at the
