ORATEL is a 3-year project with the ultimate objective of developing telematic systems for quality assurance and development in oral health care. The World Health Organization, Regional Office for Europe (WHO/EURO) is the project's prime partner. The project has completed Phase I, during which two surveys were made, one on existing quality assurance practices, and one on existing computerized information tools in oral health care.
