In this paper we find a solution for a quasi-isotropic inflationary Universe which allows to introduce in the problem a certain degree of inhomogeneity. We consider a model which generalizes the (flat) FLRW one by introducing a first order inhomogeneous term, whose dynamics is induced by an effective cosmological constant. The 3-metric tensor is constituted by a dominant term, corresponding to an isotropic-like component, while the amplitude of the first order one is controlled by a "small…
Weakly Inhomogeneous models for the Low-Redshift Universe
We analyze two different algorithms for constructing weakly inhomogeneous models for the low-redshift Universe, in order to provide a tool for testing the geodesic dynamics, within the sphere of
Study of the Quasi-isotropic Solution near the Cosmological Singularity in Presence of Bulk-Viscosity
We analyze the dynamical behavior of a quasi-isotropic Universe in the presence of a cosmological fluid endowed with bulk viscosity. We express the viscosity coefficient as a power-law of the fluid
INHOMOGENEOUS de SITTER SOLUTION WITH SCALAR FIELD AND PERTURBATIONS SPECTRUM
We provide an inhomogeneous solution concerning the dynamics of a real self-interacting scalar field minimally coupled to gravity in a region of the configuration space where it performs a slow
CLASSICAL AND QUANTUM FEATURES OF THE MIXMASTER SINGULARITY
This review paper is devoted to analyzing the main properties of the cosmological singularity associated with the homogeneous and inhomogeneous Mixmaster model. After the introduction of the main

Quasi-isotropization of the inhomogeneous mixmaster universe induced by an inflationary process
We derive a ``generic'' inhomogeneous ``bridge'' solution for a cosmological model in the presence of a real self-interacting scalar field. This solution connects a Kasner-like regime to an
On the quasi-isotropic solution in the presence of ultrarelativistic matter and a scalar field
In this paper we analyse, in the asymptotic limit to the cosmological singularity, the quasi-isotropic universe dynamics in the presence of ultrarelativistic matter and a real self-interacting scalar
On the generic cosmological solution in the presence of ultrarelativistic matter and a scalar field
This paper provides a detailed analysis of the asymptotic behaviour, toward the initial singularity, of the general cosmological solution containing ultrarelativistic matter and a scalar field. In
Cosmological Perturbation Theory in the Synchronous and Conformal Newtonian Gauges
This paper presents a systematic treatment of the linear theory of scalar gravitational perturbations in the synchronous gauge and the conformal Newtonian (or longitudinal) gauge. It differs from
Investigations in relativistic cosmology
Abstract (by translator) A detailed report is given here of the general investigations carried out by the authors in the field of relativistic cosmology during the past years. The paper consists of

TLDR
Nonlinear behaviors of cosmological inhomogeneities are studied in the anti-Newtonian or long-wavelength approximation and it is shown that the growth is gradually prevented and finally they decay.
Inflationary universe: A possible solution to the horizon and flatness problems
The standard model of hot big-bang cosmology requires initial conditions which are problematic in two ways: (1) The early universe is assumed to be highly homogeneous, in spite of the fact that
Semiclassicality and decoherence of cosmological perturbations
Transition to the semiclassical behaviour and the decoherence process for inhomogeneous perturbations generated from the vacuum state during an inflationary stage in the early Universe are considered
Influence of scalar fields on the approach to a cosmological singularity
The method of consistent potentials (MCP) is used to explain how a minimally coupled (classical) scalar field can suppress mixmaster oscillations in the approach to the singularity of generic
Comment about quasi-isotropic solution of Einstein equations near the cosmological singularity
For the case of arbitrary hydrodynamical matter, we generalize the quasi-isotropic solution of Einstein equations near the cosmological singularity, found by Lifshitz and Khalatnikov in 1960 for the
