In this paper we find a solution for a quasi-isotropic inflationary Universe which allows to introduce in the problem a certain degree of inhomogeneity. We consider a model which generalizes the (flat) FLRW one by introducing a first order inhomogeneous term, whose dynamics is induced by an effective cosmological constant. The 3-metric tensor is constituted by a dominant term, corresponding to an isotropic-like component, while the amplitude of the first order one is controlled by a "small…

Investigations in relativistic cosmology

Abstract (by translator) A detailed report is given here of the general investigations carried out by the authors in the field of relativistic cosmology during the past years. The paper consists of

Description of statistical properties of the mixmaster universe

Stochastic properties of the homogeneous Bianchi type-VIII and -IX (the mixmaster) models near the cosmological singularity are more distinctive in the Hamiltonian formalism in the Misner-Chitr\'e

A General Solution of the Einstein Equations with a Time Singularity

Abstract This paper is a concluding review exposition of the investigations aimed at the construction of a general cosmological solution of the Einstein equations with a singularity in time; thus it

On the generic cosmological solution in the presence of ultrarelativistic matter and a scalar field

This paper provides a detailed analysis of the asymptotic behaviour, toward the initial singularity, of the general cosmological solution containing ultrarelativistic matter and a scalar field. In

Spectrum of Relict Gravitational Radiation and the Early State of the Universe - JETP Lett. 30, 682 (1979)

A phenomenological model of the universe, in which, the universe was in a maximum symmetrical quantum state before the beginning of the classical Friedman expansion, is examined. The spectrum of

On the quasi-isotropic solution in the presence of ultrarelativistic matter and a scalar field

In this paper we analyse, in the asymptotic limit to the cosmological singularity, the quasi-isotropic universe dynamics in the presence of ultrarelativistic matter and a real self-interacting scalar

COVARIANT FEATURE OF THE MIXMASTER MODEL INVARIANT MEASURE

We provide a Hamiltonian analysis of the Mixmaster Universe dynamics showing the covariant nature of its chaotic behavior with respect to any choice of time variable. Asymptotically to the
