Cardiovascular MRI (CMR) is a non-invasive imaging modality that provides excellent soft-tissue contrast without the use of ionizing radiation. Physiological motions and limited speed of MRI data acquisition necessitate development of accelerated methods, which typically rely on undersampling. Recovering diagnostic quality CMR images from highly undersampled data has been an active area of research. Recently, several data acquisition and processing methods have been proposed to accelerate CMR…

Learned Half-Quadratic Splitting Network for Magnetic Resonance Image Reconstruction
This paper proposes a learned halfquadratic splitting algorithm for MR image reconstruction and implements the algorithm in an unrolled deep learning network architecture and outperforms other methods in both quantitative results and qualitative results with fewer model parameters and faster reconstruction speed.

ENLIVE: An Efficient Nonlinear Method for Calibrationless and Robust Parallel Imaging
A novel calibrationless parallel imaging technique which simultaneously estimates coil profiles and image content in a relaxed forward model is reported, which successfully reconstructs acquisitions with insufficient field-of-view and is comparably fast.
Plug-and-Play Methods for Magnetic Resonance Imaging: Using Denoisers for Image Recovery
This article describes the use of plug-and-play (PnP) algorithms for MRI image recovery and describes how the result of the PnP method can be interpreted as a solution to an equilibrium equation, allowing convergence analysis from this perspective.
First-pass cardiac perfusion: evaluation with ultrafast MR imaging.
Cardiac perfusion by administering gadolinium diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid (DTPA) in conjunction with an ultrafast imaging technique that produces strongly T1-weighted images demonstrated the clinical feasibility of first-pass perfusion studies of the heart.
On compressed sensing in parallel MRI of cardiac perfusion using temporal wavelet and TV regularization
It is found that selecting the regularization parameter so as to optimize the quality of the reconstructed image sequence as a whole, leads to erroneous reconstruction of certain regions due to over regularization.
Joint image reconstruction and sensitivity estimation in SENSE (JSENSE)
The problem of error propagation in the sequential procedure of sensitivity estimation followed by image reconstruction in existing methods, such as sensitivity encoding (SENSE) and simultaneous acquisition of spatial harmonics (SMASH), is considered and reformulates the image reconstruction problem as a joint estimation of the coil sensitivities and the desired image, which is solved by an iterative optimization algorithm.
DENSE: displacement encoding with stimulated echoes in cardiac functional MRI.
2D displacement vector maps were generated for the systolic action in canines with 0.94 x 1.9 mm nominal in-plane resolution and 2.3 mm/pi displacement encoding using DENSE displacement encoding with stimulated echoes.
Deep-Learning Methods for Parallel Magnetic Resonance Imaging Reconstruction: A Survey of the Current Approaches, Trends, and Issues
An overview of the recent machine-learning approaches that have been proposed specifically for improving parallel imaging is provided and a general background introduction to parallel MRI is given and structured around the classical view of image- and k-space-based methods.
Measurement of Cardiac Chamber Volumes by Cine Magnetic Resonance Imaging
These values measured by cine MRI are satisfactory and cineMRI will be a useful method of determining cardiac chamber volumes, espe cially atrial volumes.

Magnetic resonance imaging with respiratory gating: techniques and advantages.
Of three different devices for acquiring the respiratory signal, a belt containing a displacement transducer placed around the upper abdomen was found to be most effective and practical, and a spin-conditioned mode of respiratory gating was found be superior to a more simply implemented triggered mode in which spin-echo (SE) sequencing was interrupted.
