Observations on the vertical distribution of the Orchid bees were made in a riparian forest associated with the system of Mata-Mata lagoons (Meta-Colombia). We evaluated the understory (1.8 m), the medium stratum, between the canopy and understory (12-16 m), and canopy (18-25 m). A total of 33 males belogning to five species of Eulaema and Euglossa were captured using Cineol in fall traps for Euglossini.
