We propose to combine the quantum corrected O’Raifeartaigh model, which has a dS minimum near the origin of the moduli space, with the KKLT model with an AdS minimum. The combined effective N=1 supergravity model, which we call O’KKLT, has a dS minimum with all moduli stabilized. Gravitino in the O’KKLT model tends to be light in the regime of validity of our approximations. We show how one can construct models with a light gravitino and a high barrier protecting vacuum stability during the…

It was argued in [1] that the Volkov-Akulov (VA) model as well as similar models in supergravity and the related KKLT model in string theory, suffer from tachyonic instabilities due to goldstino…

We investigate O'Raifeartaigh-type models for F-term supersymmetry break- ing in gauge mediation scenarios in the presence of gravity. It is pointed out that the vacuum structure of those models is…

We describe the resulting phenomenology of string theory/supergravity models with strong moduli stabilization. The KL model with F-term uplifting, is one such example. Models of this type predict…
Moduli Stabilization in non-Supersymmetric Minkowski Vacua with Anomalous U(1) Symmetry

We study how two moduli can be stabilized in a Minkowski/de Sitter vacuum for a wide class of string-inspired Supergravity models with an effective Fayet-like Supersymmetry breaking. It is shown…

This work finds a new class of metastable de Sitter solutions in compactifications of six-dimensional supergravity motivated by type IIB or heterotic string vacua that stabilize the moduli and determines the size of the extra dimensions.

A bstractWe discuss a high-scale SUSY breaking scenario with the wino dark matter in the five-dimensional supergravity model on S1/Z2. The extra U(1) symmetries broken by the orbifold projection…

We propose a variant of the KKLT (A)dS flux vacuum construction which does not require an antibrane to source the volume modulus. The strategy is to find nonzero local minima of the no-scale…
