We propose to combine the quantum corrected O’Raifeartaigh model, which has a dS minimum near the origin of the moduli space, with the KKLT model with an AdS minimum. The combined effective N=1 supergravity model, which we call O’KKLT, has a dS minimum with all moduli stabilized. Gravitino in the O’KKLT model tends to be light in the regime of validity of our approximations. We show how one can construct models with a light gravitino and a high barrier protecting vacuum stability during the…

Goldstino condensation?

It was argued in [1] that the Volkov-Akulov (VA) model as well as similar models in supergravity and the related KKLT model in string theory, suffer from tachyonic instabilities due to goldstino

Finite temperature behaviour of O'KKLT model

We summarize our work on the O'Raifeartaigh uplifted KKLT model at finite temperature. We study the system for parameter values for which the zero temperature potential for the volume modulus has a

Gravity in gauge mediation

We investigate O'Raifeartaigh-type models for F-term supersymmetry break- ing in gauge mediation scenarios in the presence of gravity. It is pointed out that the vacuum structure of those models is

Strong moduli stabilization and phenomenology

We describe the resulting phenomenology of string theory/supergravity models with strong moduli stabilization. The KL model with F-term uplifting, is one such example. Models of this type predict

Moduli Stabilization in non-Supersymmetric Minkowski Vacua with Anomalous U(1) Symmetry

We study how two moduli can be stabilized in a Minkowski/de Sitter vacuum for a wide class of string-inspired Supergravity models with an effective Fayet-like Supersymmetry breaking. It is shown

De Sitter vacua in no-scale supergravities and Calabi-Yau string models

We perform a general analysis on the possibility of obtaining metastable vacua with spontaneously broken N = 1 supersymmetry and non-negative cosmological constant in the moduli sector of string

de Sitter Vacua from an Anomalous Gauge Symmetry.

This work finds a new class of metastable de Sitter solutions in compactifications of six-dimensional supergravity motivated by type IIB or heterotic string vacua that stabilize the moduli and determines the size of the extra dimensions.

Particle physics and cosmology with high-scale SUSY breaking in five-dimensional supergravity models

A bstractWe discuss a high-scale SUSY breaking scenario with the wino dark matter in the five-dimensional supergravity model on S1/Z2. The extra U(1) symmetries broken by the orbifold projection

Moduli stabilization with Fayet-Iliopoulos uplift

In the recent years, phenomenological models of moduli stabilization were proposed, where the dynamics of the stabilization is essentially supersymmetric, whereas an O'Rafearthaigh supersymmetry

The Scaling of the No Scale Potential and de Sitter Model Building

We propose a variant of the KKLT (A)dS flux vacuum construction which does not require an antibrane to source the volume modulus. The strategy is to find nonzero local minima of the no-scale

Stringy corrections to Kahler potentials, SUSY breaking, and the cosmological constant problem

The moduli of N = 1 compactifications of IIB string theory can be stabilized by a combination of fluxes (which freeze complex structure moduli and the dilaton) and nonperturbative superpotentials

De Sitter vacua from matter superpotentials

de Sitter vacua via consistent terms.

We introduce a new mechanism for producing locally stable de Sitter or Minkowski vacua, with spontaneously broken N = 1 supersymmetry and no massless scalars, applicable to superstring and M-theory

Calculable dynamical supersymmetry breaking on deformed moduli spaces

We consider models of dynamical supersymmetry breaking in which the extremization of a tree-level superpotential conflicts with a quantum constraint. We show that in such models the low-energy

Moduli stabilization with positive vacuum energy

We study the effect of anomalous U(1) gauge groups in string theory compactification with fluxes. We find that, in a gauge invariant formulation, consistent AdS vacua appear breaking spontaneously

de Sitter vacua from uplifting D-terms in effective supergravities from realistic strings

We study the possibility of using the D-term associated to an anomalous U(1) for the uplifting of AdS vacua (to dS or Minkowski vacua) in effective supergravities arising from string theories,

de Sitter string vacua from Kahler uplifting

We present a new way to construct de Sitter vacua in type IIB flux compactifications, in which the interplay of the leading perturbative and non-perturbative effects stabilize all moduli in dS vacua

Landscape, the scale of SUSY breaking, and inflation

We argue that in the simplest version of the KKLT model, the maximal value of the Hubble constant during inflation cannot exceed the present value of the gravitino mass, Hm3/2. This may have
